+abiherts
Help! The last two times I have uploaded caches from GSAK, all I have on the unit are the co-ordinates and cache name. No description or hint are available. Is this a problem with my downloads from GSAK or the unit itself! Thanks in advance Abiherts Quote Link to comment
+Cornell Finch
How are you exporting the GPX from GSAK to upload to the 62? It's possible that the export from GSAK is only exporting the coords. Quote Link to comment
+abiherts
Using the send waypoints tab, the same way I've always done it. Could it be that I've chosen to download the waypoints from GC.com, not as a pocket query but as waypoint downloads chosen from a cach setter's profile? Quote Link to comment
+Cornell Finch
Do you see all the details (cache info, logs, hint etc) in GSAK? Personally I would export the GPX (customised cache list information) from GSAK (File - Export - GPX?OC file I think) and then copy that directly to the 62. I suspect this would be quicker than using the send waypoints option. Quote Link to comment
+Cornell Finch
Another thought - when I "send waypoints" to my eTrex, GC name and coords is all I get (all it can hold). I am not certain there's even an option to send the cache details to the unit using this method? Quote Link to comment
+abiherts
Yes you're right, just checked GSAK and it only has name and co-ords for those particular caches. I won't be using that method again! Thanks for the help though. Quote Link to comment

If you are on a cachers profile and then went to owned caches, selected all on the lft, it's .Loc only Do you see all the details (cache info, logs, hint etc) in GSAK? Pretty sure thats faster then anything else. Quote Link to comment
