+NickyWiltshire
Afternoon all Apologies if this is already out there, but I've found a great website for identifying areas of woodland in the UK. Great for exploring the wonderful outdoors, but also for identifying new caching locations. You can search by location/postcode and it even gives you access to the landowner for any permissions etc. VisitWoods This may well already be well known, in which case, apologies! +Graculus
The Woodland Trust are very pro-geocaching but you do need permission first. This is the agreement in the Geocaching Association of Great Britain website which includes a link to the interactive online form to fill in when you apply for permission. Woodland Trust land also shows on the MAGIC map that we reviewers use when looking at caches. You can use the MAGIC map as well with this excellent link. Makes it very easy to identify a location when you are planning a cache. You can enter coordinates in any format. The MAGIC map doesn't only show WT land. More information about MAGIC here.
