+a4gom Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 I might be jumping the gun but it looks as though I've lost one of my trackables It was only young, it joined the fold in June but didn't make it into a cache until July when I dropped it off in Corfu on holiday. It was picked up and taken to Germany where it travelled around the town of Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony managing a total of 978.5miles. It was placed in its 8th and final cache on the 12th of September where it would appear it has met its end. The cache ($pieluhr)has now been compromised, the container and it's contents with the exception of the log have all gone. The log was left in a puddle close to the site. Please join me in a minutes silence .... RIP Lets Offroad!! (TB413V9) 29th June 2011 ~ 12th Sept 2011, 75 days young. Quote

I had a coin in a cache in Spain that was muggled in 2009. Two years later the coin was found in a field close to where the cache had been by a cacher searching for the old muggled cache. He posted a note and a photo on the coins web page; however.... despite a number of emails, he's held on to it and won't put it back into circulation. Quote
+Gushoneybun Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Keep your fingers crossed, I had a coin go in the South it turned up in Switzerland 6 months later. Also found several trackables over the years that had been marked missing and I found them in a cache, much later. So never give up hope and maybe, just maybe....... Quote
