+TX Hokie
Two quick questions... 1) What does the # Found next to a username represent - total number found (current) or the # found at the time that log was written? When I look at some of my old logs, some show the latest total, but some still show lower numbers... 2) What's the proper way to log a find for a cache that was previously a "Couldn't Find it"? Do a completely new log with a "Found It" or just edit the did not find and change it to found? Hope these make sense, thanks! Link to comment
+Mad_Hatter
The numbers get updated the last time that a log was posted on that particular cache page. I'd leave the old log and post a new one. Link to comment
+briansnat
As for your second question, most people just add a "found it" and leave their "not found" log. Not founds are as much a part of the history of the cache as finds are...and often more interesting. See my recent Not Found at this cache for a good example of that! +Lil Devil
Good story, Brian! Much more interesting than "Found cache. Traded this for that and signed log. Thanks for hiding it." Ever heard of learning from your mistakes? Lil Devil Link to comment
Cholo
That was a good story. It's also good that you were in Jersey and not Florida, you might have been feedin' the gators. What are phragmites? I picture what we call cat-tails and out west are called tules. Link to comment
