Jeremy: How constant are cache id numbers?

Posting this question here, in case someone less busy knows the answer

 

I'm setting up a database to track my own finds as well as placement of signature items in caches, and wanted to know - can the cache id number be relied on not to change?

 

I'm guessing the answer is 'yes', however I want to make sure.

Yes, the cache IDs won't ever change.
