Trackable Question

I had an idea that involves leaving a TB (or other trackable) tracking code in multiple locations for people to discover. Instead of finding the trackable item itself it would be something like a business card with the number on it that finders could use to log a discovery.

What are your thoughts on doing something like this as I am aware that *technically* you shouldn't discover a trackable unless you've seen the item with your own eyes.

The basic idea was for hiding bonus caches close to the actual cache that people *could* discover if they find a hidden easter-egg in a puzzle or multi-cache, for example.

Then to my mind, you should do this as a Puzzle or Challenge Cache Series which would allow the finders to collect clues at the cache(s) which would lead them to the bonus cache.

Stands a good chance of the trackable being 'Locked' by Groundspeak, and no-one able to log it, if they find out.

Part of Virtual Logging, and frowned on.
