Mr Zombie
I had an idea that involves leaving a TB (or other trackable) tracking code in multiple locations for people to discover. Instead of finding the trackable item itself it would be something like a business card with the number on it that finders could use to log a discovery. What are your thoughts on doing something like this as I am aware that *technically* you shouldn't discover a trackable unless you've seen the item with your own eyes. Quote Link to comment
+tomtwogates
Why would you do this? If I give you a list my travelers - would you then discover them - for what purpose other than increasing your trackable count? A no-no for me! Quote Link to comment
Mr Zombie
Why would you do this? The basic idea was for hiding bonus caches close to the actual cache that people *could* discover if they find a hidden easter-egg in a puzzle or multi-cache, for example. Quote Link to comment

Then to my mind, you should do this as a Puzzle or Challenge Cache Series which would allow the finders to collect clues at the cache(s) which would lead them to the bonus cache. Stands a good chance of the trackable being 'Locked' by Groundspeak, and no-one able to log it, if they find out. Part of Virtual Logging, and frowned on. Mr Zombie
Thanks for the feedback - looks like I'll have to scrap that idea if it breaks the rules. Quote Link to comment
+Hesamati
My interpretation is that you want to use the TBs as incentives/to add interest... If so why not make every hide/container a separate TB, i.e. fix a unique TB tag to each container for a multi? Quote Link to comment
