+Team Tyrer
It drives me mad when people go to caches take TB's and then do nothing (other than keep them themselves) - no logging - nothing !! Rant Over ! Quote Link to comment

Rant Over ! Yep! Got to agree. Out of our 9 trackables that we have let loose, we've had to mark 6 as missing/stolen. Sadly there are some nasty people out there. Quote Link to comment
RewAllianceUK
We took a TB by Mistake when we started, it was a car wrapped up in a bag. The dog tag was hard to to see in the bag. After finding another one and find out about how TB's work, I then dug the car one out and logged that. So some might be down to new people not knowing what they are. Quote Link to comment

Rant Over ! I find this is normally down to newbies who do not realise what a trackable is, you could drop them a nice email explaining how to log them? I know I have in the past and normally they log the item out and then drop it off in the future so everyone is happy. Quote Link to comment
+varnapopcorn
I agree, many of my trackables are still missing. We had one that someone took to America, another cacher picked it up (logging it fine) and just never dropped it off since. We have mailed them lot's of times, however they haven't logged on since last year and they don't reply. When I pick one up I always make sure I log it correctly and help it to achieve it's goal! +Team Noodles
the golden rule is as follows : any trackable you release is considered lost from the moment you drop it off. Embrace the above and learn to enjoy whatever movement they get as a treat. that is all. Quote Link to comment

Yep, it's frustrating when they go missing but if you're not willing to think of a travel bug as a £10 note that you folded into a paper aeroplane and threw out of the window just to see where it would end up, don't release them at all.
