+mtn-man 1 Posted July 6, 2003 The holiday weekend and Sunday. Lots of people logging lots of caches! It will get back to normal. Share this post Link to post
+Mejas 0 Posted July 6, 2003 Thanks. After writing the post I thought it might be the hacking thing. Hope not. Mejas Love caching Share this post Link to post
+Tradboy 0 Posted July 6, 2003 Intolerably slow. Many server-not-available errors. Share this post Link to post
+15Tango 1 Posted July 7, 2003 It's now the mid-day monday, and the site is still really really really really slow--it just took me over an hour just to look up 7 cache pages--lots of server-not-available and server-too-busy messages. +pnew 0 Posted July 7, 2003 lol I was searching for this thread before I was about to make my own. I think its time for a new server maybe for just cache pages or half of the current cache pages. (yes I'm aware servers cost a megaton load of money...) I'm no server whiz but when you get busy messages on a Monday morning its not that people are logging their finds... of course who knows I could be wrong about that too The Department of Redundancy Department A geocache a day keeps the debtors away (cause your never home to take the call...) +carleenp 1 Posted July 7, 2003 I had a hell of a time last night trying to log caches. I thought it was just a busy night. But today, I usually can't get to cache pages at all, so I think something must be wrong. Share this post Link to post
Gory 0 Posted July 7, 2003 I've been having the same trouble, trying to get some details for a trip next week. I was just ready to panick after 2 days when, around 7pm EST, someone hit Turbo, all is well again in Goryville Share this post Link to post
+Mopar 0 Posted July 7, 2003 If its any consolation, seems like it's not just this site, but almost every site on the net, at least for me. Someone please reboot the internet? Tae-Kwon-Leap is not a path to a door, but a road leading forever towards the horizon. Share this post Link to post
+mustanglx 0 Posted July 7, 2003 Sunday was the first time I ever got the message "server not available". So I gave up and waited for today, everything seems a-ok. mustanglx Share this post Link to post
