+JBnW
I recently made the jump from my trusty 76CSx to a 62s. Selecting different maps to display on the 76 was something I always used to do, but can't figure out how on the 62. I tried loading just a few MBs of maps (Ibycus, USA Topo, and Inland Lakes) to get the hang of it. However, under Setup Map, they appear as one product, and I couldn't figure out how to select between different products. The Enable/Disable screen sez "Midwest USA Topo, US Topo, US Inland Lakes v2) as a single selection. So I deleted (I think) the gmapsupp file from the 62s, threw in a small SD card, and reloaded the same maps to the card (via card reader). The maps display the same, but I still can't figure out how to select between the three products. Did Garmin change the way multiple maps should be loaded sometime between the 76CSx and 62s lines? Did I miss something? Quote Link to comment
+g-o-cashers
It has changed a bit. Split each map product into its own .img file by giving them different names and you should be able to select them independently.
