+Markwell
I know it has been discussed before, but it never hurts to complain again. Lower number Pocket Queries always seem to run without a problem. I've got #175, and I get it each and every day. The higher number ones aren't seeming to go out with regularity. Yesterday, I got the one numbered 3685 with no problem, but the one that I have above 10000 never came. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
+mikemtn
My number 9799 works fine every day. I do wish I'd heard this theory before I deleted all my low number queries. Mike Link to comment
+Markwell
I do know that they run in sequential order. That has been discussed frequently on the board, and anectdotally, I can verify this from my own queries. What I don't understand is why the system starts over again at query 1 at midnight if the others didn't run. And if it does that, why don't the people and Groundspeak get all kinds of alarm whistles? Just one more headache that I hope will be cleared up with the redesigned site. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
iryshe
I'll be fixing this before the new site is up. It'll be sorted out this week. Jeremy Irish Groundspeak - The Language of Location Link to comment
+cachew nut
Just out of curiousity and not making any judgements, but why a new pocket query every day? I get one a week and the file is usually quite large, if I don't download it and delete it, then my mailbox is full when the next one comes. Link to comment
+Markwell
Because of the fluidity of the database. Since we can't have these "on demand," I can at least be sure that the data I have on my own computer is as current as possible. With archivals and new caches popping up in our area every day, I like to keep up with what's going on. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
