woodymacclad
It has always been temperamental but it has got worse recently. When you flick to live map, most times the caches don't show up at all , and if they do it takes ages. (5mins plus) Same with the nearby option. It is making caching almost impossible! Any hints / tips would be very much appreciated. Quote Link to comment
+Panther&Pine
Use another program. The original developer is no longer working on the project and it may still be out of compliance with the TOU. Quote Link to comment
+mpilchfamily
So GS has finally done it. They changed the site enough with yesterdays update to stop C:goe. And since the creator is no longer supporting it the app will no longer work. If you love the sport then show your support and spend the $10 on the Official app. Quote Link to comment
+michaelnel
Actually it has been opensourced, and there is a new team working on C:Geo. I vote for NeonGeo though. Quote Link to comment

It is being updated nightly by developers so whilst original cgeo will not get updates, new version will do and has already been fixed since the update on geocaching.com yesterday Edited August 19, 2011 by Chilli Pipers Quote Link to comment
+michaelnel
BTW, I just checked using the latest c:geo opensource version and the live maps work better than they ever have. Quote Link to comment
+kagetto
The open source app appears to be working fine... of course until the website is changed again. Quote Link to comment

As stated you need to download the opensource c:geo app. I used it today, and the last few days, with success. Works great! Quote Link to comment
+GrateBear
Can someone explain just exactly what "Send2 c:geo does"? I've read the description but it is not at all apparent to me what it's all about. Quote Link to comment
+normandcat
That's odd... I used an older version of C:geo (maybe a few weeks old) earlier today with no problems... Quote Link to comment

+BANDA
The new open source will not let me inport caches and will not open the details of a cache into my HTC Eris That's because the web site has been down most of the day. Quote Link to comment

I still can't open the details of some caches although the website seems to be running fine now. For example: I searched for the GC15G5C. It stucks while loading the details. Quote Link to comment
