+RhinoInAToga
We are moving out of state, and we have contacted a fellow cacher that lives nearby. They have agreed to adopt our caches so that they can remain here. However, I tried to enter the GC codes to adopt them out to them, and it didn't work. It came back with "you have not recieved an option to adopt these caches" (or something close to this sentence) So, after a while it has come down to me banging on the enter button saying, "I knooooow. I want someone ELSE to have them!" But the computer won't answer me. Maybe I didn't knock hard enough.. I have looked for other options on how to do this with no success, and I am having difficulties. (to put it lightly) This is the link to where I was attempting this: http://www.geocaching.com/adopt Any and all advice is very much appreciated! Quote Link to comment

+DadOf6Furrballs
I believe that right now the adoption process is broken. It seemed to coincide with the update today. I have one that was adopted over to me, I've got the email, but I get an error when I try to accept it by clicking the link. Right now everyone is up in arms with pitchforks about the challenges. I'd wait a day or two and see what happens. I'm sure they'll eventually notice. Quote Link to comment
+RhinoInAToga
"You have not been asked to adopt this listing." That's some Sherlock quality stuff. If I go and get a pitch fork will they notice? How about a torch? I can wait a few days. No problem. Quote Link to comment
+tumbleweed2
Anyone know if the adoption link has been fixed? The link I had before that was successfully used was: http://www.geocaching.com/adopt but it now says it is not correct. I have 16 caches in Oklahoma that I am trying to adopt out, since I am no longer able to maintain them there, but can't seem to get any adoption process in motion. Thanks, Kay Divine aka tumbleweed2 Quote Link to comment
