Forum styles broken?

Using Mozilla/Linux the forums seem to have broken last night - all background colours have vanished, including in the pulldown menus (New->Topic/Post etc.) making it hard work.

On my windows box at work they were fine.

Coming home (Mozilla/Linux) they're broken again, so it seems it wasn't temporary.

I don't think I changed any settings, so has something changed in the stylesheets etc?

Images work (I can see the icons, logos, avatars etc.), but the page is plain white with no table cell colours etc. Text colours work fine (Groundspeak copyright is green, links blue, text black etc.)

The geocaching.com site is unaffected - still works fine.

But it did.

So thanks! All working now.

The style sheet is held in cache. If it's out of date or corrupted, it could cause the problem you described.

I had the same problem... and cleared the cache while I was reading this thread.

It worked for me too.

I'd been messing with some settings earlier, but I thought it had worked okay after I finished tampering with the settings.

But of course, when a problem occurs I start trying to figure out what might have caused it, and if I made any changes...

So I started trying to set things back, but that didn't help, so I started clearing cache and history and such... and now it works again.

Must be a bug in the Groundspeak system though.

Even hitting reload didn't work, and I though that would have overwritten the cache files.

Strange.

We didn't do anything with the styles in the forums, so it may be due to a minor hiccup on the machine. InfoPop has informed us that the current machine can no longer handle our forum load, so we're looking to either upgrade ($$$) or move to a new forum service.

Not necessarily. Reload is not a "refresh". Usually, if you hold down the Shift or Ctrl key (depending on what browser you use) when you hit the Reload button, it will force a clean retrieve.
