"New" notifications

I hope this hasn't been asked already. I tried to do a search, but couldn't find an answer:

 

Is there a way to get a notification when there has been a new cache placed in your area?

 

Preferably, to my Android GeoCaching app, but by eMail would be fine too.

Go to http://www.geocaching.com/notify/default.aspx (from your profile page click on Set Up Notifications under Premium Features on the right side of the page)

 

Once there set up your notifications to be sent to your email.

EDIT: Thanks for the notification information. I got that taken care of... but I went to see your suggestion and it said that that particular one had been deleted.

Yeah I noticed. They have another topic that addresses similar functionality...the COMMENTS mention what my request is and not the original message, so hopefully they will consider all the comments and get it implemented. Good luck!
