+jacob501
It seems like all the other people that go geocaching together are already friends and they are older. There are no teenagers near me!! What to do....hmmm... Quote Link to comment

+jacob501
Introduce your friends to the game of geocaching. I feel like all my friends would think its lame or nerdy or geeky...I mean it is...but when I think about myself, I am kind of a nerd but i'm not friends with geeks and stuff...so I think they would just laugh or say its stupid. I don't want them to think I'm weird just because I like doing this. Quote Link to comment
+SeekerOfTheWay
Go caching with older folks. I go with 60-70 year olds since that's who is in my town! The older you get the more you'll not care about how you appear to others. Edited August 13, 2011 by SeekerOfTheWay Quote Link to comment
Winxx
I'm just starting up, and I'm a teenager. Just find people who enjoy the outdoors, they don't have to bee all that geeky just tell them about the caches hidden all around that propose a challenge. At least that is how I'm getting my friends into it. Quote Link to comment

+AmphibianTrackers
Are you in any groups? Have a scavenger hunt for the group and see who really gets into it and then try telling them about geocaching. Quote Link to comment
+WestCoastKid
I've introduced many friends to geocaching over the years. Some have even taken up the game very seriously! Often times they think it's stupid and geeky at first, but after a find or two they love it. Quote Link to comment

There are no teenagers near me!! What to do....hmmm... Are you the same user that has listings in review now on another site? There are not many young geocachers in our area, but we enjoy hiking and my teenage son enjoys EarthCaches, so we have worked together to list a couple. We both have learned alot about our local geology by EarthCaching. Quote Link to comment
+Yshf
I'm 13 and I got friends to geocache with me. It's easier than you think to invite them out on a hunt. Start out by only talking to really close friends who u know and trust. Quote Link to comment
Night_Hiker
It's usually easy for anyone who likes outdoors. Most people are so fascinated that there's hidden containers in all the places they pass daily that they'll at least give it a try. Quote Link to comment
+gfamgeo
I'm 15 and I geocache all the time. I introduced geocaching to a few of my friends and most of them did not like it but one friend did. I usually cache with my cousins or parents.... Quote Link to comment
+WarNinjas
I think they will think it is cooler then you think. Now if they are not nerds and are punks that you think would go around jacking up the caches I would say not to tell them but if they are cool I think they would like it. I have introduced it to my nieces and nephews and they are all fascinated with it! -WarNinjas Quote Link to comment
+The_Incredibles_
I"m assuming you're still in school? Then why not approach your teachers and see if one of them would be interested in starting a club. Quote Link to comment
