+Warturtle
I just wrote up my first geocache page yesterday, at a place that I could not believe there wasn't already an EC. I know the knowledge books say that it might take over the normal three days, but it doesn't give much more detail than that. I'm pretty antsy during the period of pre-reviewing. It's not that I'm disappointed in the reviewers for being slow or something, I'm just excited, so I have to wonder... On average, how long does it take to get an EC published, assuming there are no problems with the listing? Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Earthcaches are not reviewed by the usual reviewers, so may/can take longer that the 3 days for a 'normal' cache. It seems to vary from area to area. Quote Link to comment
+Lostby7
I have had them approved in as little as an hour and as long as a couple of weeks. Your odds of getting published sooner seems to be in direct correlation to the quality and completeness of your listing. Having correct permission listed on the page or as a reviewer note also lessons the chance of a delay. Quote Link to comment
Sandy
Both great pieces of feedback. As the content of EarthCaches is so robust - and reviewing these is a specialist task - it can take longer than three days to start the review process. This summer has been particularly busy for EC review, and we are adding to the review team. Quote Link to comment
toczygroszek
Longer than 3 days... I'm waiting with my Earthcache near 3 weeks without any reaction. Hmmm... Quote Link to comment
