Rilancio di geocaching.it

Ciao ragazzi,

 

Sta per rinascere geocaching.it. Il sito nuovo è pronto e dovrebbe essere disponibile a momenti (sono stati cambiati i server dns, e la rete ha bisogno di qualche ora per rendersene conto).

 

Gli utenti italiani che si erano già registrati sul vecchio sito, potranno accedere a quello nuovo con lo stesso nome utente e la stessa password di prima.

 

Ecco alcune delle novità:

- Possiblità di eseguire delle ricerche di cache italiane in base ai criteri più svariati (quota di altitudine, atributi assegnati, numero di voti GCVote/Favorites/Cache d'oro assegnati, e molti, ma molti altri ancora).

- Geocache Submitter: un'applicazione da scaricare, completamente in lingua italiana, con cui preparare dele nuove cache.

- Il Cachepool: una possibilità di metterti in contatto con altri geocacher della tua zona per andare a caccia di cache insieme

- Cerca-Chiama-Cache!: una funzione che ti permette di contattare altri geocacher per chiedere un aiuto quando non riesci a trovare una cache (con addirittura una app corrispondente per telefoni Android)

- Un forum, completo di chat

- Opzioni per creare e gestire delle gare di tracciabili

 

Andate a dare un'occhiata appena possibile! Aggiungerò un ulteriore messaggio a questo thread appena riesco ad accedere al sito, ma non è da escludersi che altri ci riescano prima.

 

Visitate subito il forum per partecipare all'estrazione di un geocoin dedicato all'8 agosto, la data di questo rilancio (benché del 2008 e non del 2011)!

Ciao Katja,

 

ma è una bellissima notizia. In effetti era da tempo che moti ci chiedevano che fine aveva fatto il vostro sito e più che dirgli di contattarvi non potevamo fare e ci fa immensamente piacere che possiate riprendere a promuovere, come quando avevate iniziato, anche voi il geocaching in Italia.

 

Anche noi da poco abbiamo fatto un restyle del sito, sfruttando l'occasione del festeggiamento dei nostri 10 anni di attività, e ci fa piacere vedere che le iniziative che stai proponendo sono perfettamente complementari e questo non può che essere un bene per la comunità dei geocacher italiani.

 

Da parte dello staff di Geocaching-Italia.com, un grosso in bocca al lupo e, ovviamente, se serve qualcosa siamo a disposizione.

Sorry for the English post guys, but my Italian is lets say, not good enough. (Not that English is my strongest point though)

 

Kdv, congratulations on the renewed www.geocaching.it website. Geocaching.it and Globalcaching.eu have been working together for some weeks now to get the site up and running and I hope, no I am sure, we can make this combined effort to a success, where the Italian geocachers can benefit from the features the website offers. But also together with the visitors of the website we can make things better. So I hope we get a lot of suggestions from you.

 

At some places the website contains some Dutch words and we are working on it to replace them with Italian text. The reason for this is that the website is based on the globalcaching.eu website, but it has been adapted to the Italian geocaching community. In other words, we share the same website, but target a different audience (language/country). Like I said, we are working on the issues to get everything in Italian. The next step after that is to expand the website with new features. The collaboration between globalcaching.eu and geocaching.it makes it possible to reach a larger audience which makes new features possible. And in future we may very well expand our 'network' to other communities as well.

 

The programming team of globalcaching.eu will be offering ongoing programming and technical support, and the collaboration so far has been excellent. We are definitely looking forward to continuing and expanding our collaborative efforts, and hope all italian geocachers will benefit from and contribute to the new site.

 

I hope we can welcome you on the website and that you find what you are looking for. Wether it is the functionlity to search for geocaches or to get in contact with others thru the forum or chat.
