I run a youth organisation, and am hoping to get them out geocaching this summer, any tips or advice please.

A help full tip for you is that now many libraries have geocaching kits which you can sign out like books!!

Get a cheap but trustworthy gps

Magellan has recently put the Ipod touch/ Iphone tough case on sale for under $100. Very inexpensive GPS unit with that conversion. Makes the touch/phone water resistant and shock resistant.
