I was wondering if someone can help me. I've read in some logs the the FTF recieved an Alert that a new Cache was Published. How can I get those alerts?

Go to the drop down menu 'profile'select 'quick view'. Underneath your profile tag on the right hand side is a long list of functions that are available to you. Look down the list, about halfway and there is an option for 'set-up Notifications' Select this. Click on 'create new' and work through the options available to you.

 

You will need to set up a new notification for all of the types of caches that you wish to be emailed about ie traditional, unkown, event etc...

I had my email set to check for new messages every 3 minutes, down from every 20. Most of the new caches were too far to get a FTF, but we did get one close to home. We're not that bothered so those that have more energy have no competition from us.

1. After you log in you should click on your GC name in the upper right corner.

2. Now look down under your GC name and you will see a section called Premium features

3. Go to "set up notifications"

4. Click on Learn how to add a notification
