Oldest Active Caches

I'll be taking a caching road trip soon and I'd like to make it special by visiting the oldest active caches in several states. Does anyone know of a list? or can you cachers help me out by sending the "GCs" to me for the states of: AL, AR, GA, KY, LA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV. Thanks and Happy Safe caching! Cachyew

While on GC.com click on Play, choose "Hide and Seek a Cache" from drop down menu.

Choose by State/Province and select one of your states and press go.

Now you will be on "All Geocaches" page 1 of xxx pages (the newest caches in that state), click on the ">>" link (just before next) this will take you to the last page, e.g., the oldest caches in that state.

We've been to the oldest in all the states that you have mentioned. You may need some intel on the oldest in WV. Your Nuvi will take you anywhere but the right road!!

The oldest in MS and MO are a piece of cake. The bookmark entry for Virginia might be wrong. I thought Burke Lake Park (GC175) was the oldest in VA.
