+Legochugglers Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 When I select the 'Map This' option when searching for caches I initially get the Maps Beta screen but within a few seconds this then gets covered up by a light blue screen so I can just see the caches/smileys but not the actual map. I then have to revert to the old map system and then use that to plan my caching. Obviously this could just be a problem with me/my lap top but I wondered if anybody else has seen this issue and is there something simple I am missing that would allow me to use the Maps Beta? It might be worth switching to OpenStreetMap/Bing/Satellite etc, and playing around with switching between the different maps. I'd also be tempted to try it with a different browser. +Just Roger Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 When I open the Beta maps, a window opens on top of the map to tell you how wonderful Beta maps are (I'm just paraphrasing what it says - I'm not saying I agree with it) Could this be what is causing you problem? If so, there is a white X on a black circle on the top right hand corner of the window to close it Quote Link to comment
