Sometimes it loads, and zooms in ok, but sometimes it just times out again and again. It's been like that for the last few hours as I write. Link to comment
+Centaur Posted January 1, 2003 Share Posted January 1, 2003 This seems to have been an on again off again problem. Its been discussed on here in the past. I believe its due to the server load and the server timing out while asking for the caches you have found so it can display them as such. Thats why it does not happen when you are not logged in, because it does not ask the server for your found caches. Thats the current work around until the day the Admins get their own map server up and running I believe. Dont log in and the maps seem to work faster. Try at different times of the day when the load may be less. etc. If you search through the messages here you will come across one from Jeremy talking about his work on the new map server.
