+uisce33 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 i am a premium geocaching member tho new to geocaching up until now i have used my iphone for caching but now need to use an android handset.my question is do i have to pay for the geocaching app again[can only find c-geo on android]surely i can keep using my old account .....cant i ?. thanks in advance Quote

For one it violates the site's TOS. For another the author of the app has discontinued support for it. At any time GS could update the site and block C:geo from being able to get the caching data. The official geocaching app doesn't keep track of your finds. If your talking about doing a search for caches and seeing the ones you have found checked off, then no you will not loose that data. That is all in your GC account and the official app gets all its info directly from your GC account. Quote

Works great for me. there is an open source c:geo app that is still being developed and supported. Just search for c:geo and itll be there. Quote
