Interesting ... I checked my own caches and found that I have

a dozen hides in this category; that is, one or more years

without a visit.

GC115M6, GC1T1PC, GC1F1Q2, GC1F1PG, GC115MQ, GC115MF,

GC12QRE, GC10ZER, GC23BW8, GC23BWB, GCC2A6, and

GC26AHD.

As expected each and every one of my lonely-dozen hides were

placed in remote locations and, for the most part, were being

placed when new areas were being opened up by a small number

of adventuresome, well-known Geocachers.

On the other hand some of my most-remote hides have been

found during the past year but, for the most part, each was

found by pretty-much the very same hardy Geocachers.

Comes down to long, rugged, steep hikes with grand opportunities

for photographing snakes and meeting four-legged wild critters

and illegals and starting from some not so ideal parking spots.

You know, what some might call stoopid-Geocaching.

I have several but I dont know if you want to count puzzles. My oldest traditional not visited is Jamul Mountain (http://coord.info/GC11VV7) which Jahoadi and John did maintenance back in April 2011 (Thanks again John). It has not had a new find since 13 October 2008. I have queries that cover all caches 25 miles from El Cajon, CA. I will check my database for oldest caches not found and post a list here.

Uh-huh, here's a challenge for you ... try to find a

puzzle cache that has an SD Rowdies log entry.

Jodi, I have quite a few disabled caches that need

replacement, would you please send John out to replace

them for me?

  Ha Ha ...I would be glad to...if you will come over and trim the Pepper Tree, paint the new geocache-manufacturing shed (aka garden shed) , weedwhack the bank, chicken wire the roses. kill the gopher, build my blackberry garden, etc etc. do you think retirement for John means just geo-caching everyday?

Kill th' gopher! ... what did that little critter ever do to you?

Now Jodi dear, seriously, I'm getting the feeling that you've lost

control of your dear husband. You need to tighten up on John before

it's too late ... give him too much slack and he'll go feral on y'.

The central issue here is not what I think John should be doing

with his retirement ... it's what you allow him to think of doing with

his retirement. That honey-do list is out of control ... the key word

for this situation is "Smackdown!"

Still, I'm nothing if not a willing helper ... let me know when the

blackberries are ready for pickin' and I'll be right over t' help.

Jodi darlin',

Couldn't sleep the other night thinkin' about all of that

house and yard work you need done. So I drove down to your

place yesterday to check on things.

What I saw was that John is draggin' his feet about painting

th' Geocache-container fabrication shack. Y' hate t' see a

job left partly done like that ... with a paint brush throwed

down, dried up, and forgotten about. Y' might want t' have a

little talk with John, motivational-wise, if y' know what I

mean.

Glad t' help,

I slammed on the brakes, leaped out of my truck, and

ran for cover. That ol' gal is sure quick. She had me

in a bear-hug within my first four steps and squeezed

me down to a size-small with her ample arms ...

laughing maniacally all the while and yelling "I'll

get you my pretty and your little dawg too!"

When I came to, both me and my truck were at the Old

that read "Have a nice day Harmon. Love Jodi."

I don't know about you Team Fatman but it seemed to me

that I was dealing with mixed-signals. That ol' gal

It has been 5 years since someone has found our first puzzle: Nine Patch GC10VXX on 6/23/2017. Seems that Puzzle caches no longer have checkers for the convenience of those wanting to find puzzles.

the answer to the puzzle is N 32° 39.049 W 117° 02.266
