+Marg886
I was wondering if any knows a quick way to download caches on the rail trails in Ontario. I've been downloading them one at a time into GSAK and there's got to be a better way. I also did a search on GBPT (for example) and came up with 37 caches. I selected all of them and then clicked download. They came as a LOC file with only the waypoint. I want all the information. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any way to do a pocket query of the results of my search? Thanks Marg886 Quote Link to comment
+northernpenguin
Try a cache along a route PQ, and trace the rail trail. You can also use the GPX from the site to limit the GSAK export to the same arc Quote Link to comment
+stagunner
to get the best result limit your PQ to a smaller area, If you are going on a 500 km drive just break the route into small segments Your PQ will yield more results Easiest way is to use your mapping software and draw the route of the rail on it and then save it as a GPX file Import the GPX file of the route and do the PQ Caching along a route will not get the Railbed,, just city streets Quote Link to comment
