+O La Ba Shan Tu
Sorry if this isn't the correct location or way to do it, I am a newbie.... I have several geocoins I've brought from New Mexico, as well as 3 young kids that love the larger caches with toys for trade... Can anyone tell me where some LARGE caches in San Diego and/or Escondido (Carlsbad, Oceanside) are? I am particularly looking for larger ones that may be VERY BUSY--several of these geocoins and or travelbugs need to make it WEST across the ocean ideally.... THANK YOU! Quote Link to comment
+rockhoundbmw
I haven't visited the forums in a long time, and hopefully my answer isn't too late. Try this bookmark list: http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=af1e38fb-9d0e-4b8f-98fe-40a5065af12f All of those caches started out as ammo cans, and they are hidden throughout North County (basically the area between and including Oceanside and Escondido). Some of the caches have been replaced with smaller containers, so check out the individual cache pages before heading out. Quote Link to comment
+Postholedigger
Any chance you'll be making a visit to the SD airport area? There are a couple small to regular sized caches near the airport that could serve as a good jump off point for more mileage. Quote Link to comment
