Distance to coordinates or waypoint in dashboard on Garmin Montana

I'm a geocacher with a new garmin Montana. Can anyone tell me how to go to coordinates, enter the info, and then see a dashboard similar to the geocaching compass that shows the distance to destination? The compass dashboard when going to coordinates does not seem to show the distance to the destination. Thanks

I have the same problem to. while navigate to a waypoint, the last geocache stay's in the dashboard also the distance to de geocache. And not the info from the waypoint or coordinates i like to go to.

If it's anything like on the Oregons, select a non-geocaching dashboard (data fields) and configure the data fields to what you want them to show, e.g. distance, pointer, etc.

Works same as the Oregon. You have at least 4 options.

1) Use the compass screen.

2) Change map dashboard.

3) Setup a profile for navigating to waypoints where the map dashboard is set to anything but geocaching.

4) Use a profile where the map dashboard is set to anything but geocaching.

Figured it out. When you find the first cache of a multi, you then click the menu icon and then "enter next stage". Enter coordinates and you are off. Compass, distance, dashboard is there.
