holograph Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 The June statistics are available on the statistics page. The maps and counts by county have been updated also. There were 1086 datasheets updated with new GEOCAC recovery logs. The most recent recovery added to the datasheets was dated June 6 and the updates seem to be from February to June. Quote
+PFF Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Glad to see that our group's hard work has made it to the data base, where it can be used by professionals. They don't do anyone any good sitting in the "inbox". Thanks for monitoring and for providing the updates. -Paul- Quote
+m&h Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Many thanks, as ever. It's a terrific overview. Cheers, Quote
+Ashallond Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Neat, hey, what benchmark was seen in Pulaski county in Arkansas? I want to know who else is benchmarking in the state. I've got a bunch that just missed the deadline that will fill in some counties in NE arkansas. (or could you teach me how to search that info so I could figure it out myself?) Quote
tosborn Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) Looks like it was PID EJ1729, recovered on 20110416 by DOR. Found by doing a datasheet search via Load Date (June). Edited July 4, 2011 by tosborn Quote
+shorbird Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Thanks for the updates, Jim. We always appreciate your work!! Quote
+Harry Dolphin Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Holograph, you've turned me into a map ho! When I go on vacation, I look for new counties to color in! (Okay, so I'm on vacation to color in states on my map...) Look for Branch County, Michigan, and Columbia County, Wisconsin on the next update. I could not get to the bollard and benchmark in Guttenberg, Clayton County, Iowa, due to security fences. Quote
+Harry Dolphin Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Here's my attempt at Branch County, Michigan... MD0589 Looks like a square monumennt, rather than round. Disk missing. Looks like it's been hit by a lawn mower a few too many times. Listed direction and distance from the MICH/IND triangular marker. I listed it in 'poor' condition. Love these boundary markers! We don't have these back East! Quote
CoyoteTrust Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Looks like each state expects the other state to use the weed whacker at this monument. Nice pics, thanks. Quote
