Thanks for thoughts and suggestions I enjoy using this unit, but there has been plenty of discussion about it in the technology forum of this site as well as the user reviews. +MontyFam Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I love it's ease of use but seem to have lots of trouble in mildly wooded areas. lots of bounce. In the open it seems very accurate. Going to try it on the boat this weekend... I just need to break down and buy the maps I guess... Quote
+Spraginator Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I love it. Best unit I've had. Accuracy is as good as the 60CSx and the paperless caching is really nice! Quote
+TK7464 Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 I have a 62st and have been really happy with it. It does have drawback. Once you find a cache it puts it on the calendar so you can go back and log the correct dates of the find however, it is very difficult to nearly impossible to delete the caches from the calendar. In fact I called Garmin tech support this week and they walked me through it but it must be done using a computer and a bit of time. You should upgrade the frimware on the Garmin website so it can find CHIRPs I have added the North America road maps chip with is great for geocaching out of you home area. Quote
