Geocaching makes it into 'Jersey Now' magazine

Recommended Posts

Very nice 4 page article involving our local reviewer - explains GC very well!

Some great photos, it was a bit wierd to recognise the caches pictured even though the photos were taken so as to hide the location.

Nice 'POWERED BY ME' GC T-shirt Yvonne!!

Obviously I cannot copy the article here, but it does go to every home on the island and was a really good intro to the obsession! I predict a caching explosion over here :anibad:

There is an event on the Tuesday (19th) which may be worth you attending to get some pointers, but it depends what you like doing - easy, hard, puzzles (lots of them - maybe take a look and work them out before you come).

Also I am doing an event on Sun 24th if you are still about!

let me know what type of cache & I will gove some ideas...

What a great article, both from Jersey's point of view and about geocaching.

I'm and ex-local and love GCing in Jersey. Even though I grew up in Jersey Geocaching has taken me to so many places I never knew existed.

So far, some of my favourites are...

Alphabet Chain....A is for Airport - my first ever geocache!

Patternoster Lookout - great views

Le Don Carlyle le Gallais - a very sneaky hide!

The Great Escape - an easy cache with a great story to tell

Corbiere Lighthouse Viewpoint - more great views

Noirmont - a really good multicache (even though I didn't get to the final stage!)

Can't wait until we go back in August so I can look for some more.
