+mclaughlin@maplewood
I collect the trinkets I find in caches, and I was wondering what other geocachers found in their caches! Quote Link to comment
+Keelmann And Cici
I collect the trinkets I find in caches, and I was wondering what other geocachers found in their caches! I'm still fairly new, but so far haven't found anything I wanted to keep. I do try to drop decent things in caches though! Quote Link to comment
+ShaunEM
My wife found an ipod. Not sure if it worked or not. We had nothing of that value to trade. Shaun Quote Link to comment
+Mom-n-Andy
A Get Out of Hell Free card. Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
Probably the hematite necklace I'm wearing right now. Found in a cache on 8/3/2003. A red-tailed hawk and a roadrunner told me to wear it always. Quote Link to comment
+Team Dennis
A brand new "Legends of Wrestling" (or something similarly titled) video game for a PS3. I don't have a PS3 and I didn't have anything equal to trade so I left it for the next lucky finder. Quote Link to comment
+BaylorGrad
To be perfectly honest with you... The logbook. Really, in over 400 caches, I've never found anything nicer than a McToy... Unless you count a quarter as nicer than a McToy. Close call. Quote Link to comment
+sshipway
The best thing I found in any cache was Red Dragon's 10-year-old 'Global Traveller' trackable, almost as old as the game itself. Passed it on via my puzzle cache to make sure it was picked up by someone who'd take care of it. Quote Link to comment
+GrateBear
A golf ball. Bwa ha ha ha, just joking. Why someone leaves a used golf ball is beyond me. One cool find was when I was the FTF and there was a 1943 steel penny, and it was in a protective sleeve. Quote Link to comment
Andronicus
To be perfectly honest with you... The logbook. Really, in over 400 caches, I've never found anything nicer than a McToy... Unless you count a quarter as nicer than a McToy. Close call. Where do you cache? That is sad. But, on the bright side, the kids love McToys. I found a Velcro camo Canadain flag (worn by Canadian Forces on their shoulder). I didn't have any swag to trade, so traded my compass. Still need to buy a new one. Quote Link to comment

+GeoGeeBee
A tiny Drew Brees football jersey. It now resides in a place of honor on my mantel. Quote Link to comment
+vincenzosi
The only thing I've EVER traded for. I just had to. I love Domo. Quote Link to comment
Snugglesofdoom
I think the neatest thing I have seen thus far (Only have 62 finds) would have been the 2004P Westward Journey Commemorative Nickel that was colored on the backside. I wish I had something that day to trade for it. :-) Quote Link to comment
+captnemo
Coolest thing I've got is a pink glass tomahawk found years ago as a FTF. It's better looking then it sounds and the First Mate still loves it. It seems to me that the swag in caches has gotten worse over the years which is why I rarely trade anymore. Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
A pair of zircon encrusted tweezers. Essential for getting tiny logs out of tiny containers. But I broke them last year. Quote Link to comment

+L0ne.R
Back in 2002 we found this cool portable plastic microscope that worked: More recently I found these cool handmade items: Quote Link to comment
+Chokecherry
I found some little tiny zombies the other weekend and those were right up there on the cool scale for me. Some personalized items. But really the neatest thing I found was this log book that was more like a travel journal but everyone was answering the questions on their page and it was a really interesting read. +NYPaddleCacher
A lanyard from an Italian Forestry Service from a cache in Rome. I attached it to my GPS and used it for a couple of years until my GPS got stolen. A bicycle bell. My next door neighbor had just bought a class Schwinn bicycle and I was talking with him as he was restoring it the day before and he said "all I need now is a bicycle bell.". Quote Link to comment
+AlohaBra and MaksMom
In recent memory, this goecoin: TB2DABJ Mainly because it came out of Antarctica. edit..a Hobo Nickle was way cool also... Edited June 24, 2011 by alohabra Quote Link to comment
+Flintstone5611
I just recently found a mini homemade arrowhead! The CO is really artistic with their hides and started to include handmade swag that is just as cool. It is awesome! Quote Link to comment
+iambobbrown
I didn't find it in the cache, but I found a $100 bill on the ground on the way to a cache. Quote Link to comment
+kwcahart
A $2 bill. A real honest $2 bill. I still have it. Quote Link to comment
+TheAlabamaRambler
A SanDisk USB SD Card Reader. Found it in a cache in Louisiana six years ago, still use it often. Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
A $2 bill. A real honest $2 bill. I still have it. Cool, I handle a fair amount of cash daily at work, and often buy the $2 bills and odd coins (foreign, $1, $.50) that come through so I can use them as cache swag or droppings. I'm glad to see that someone got some pleasure from finding unusual money in the cache. Quote Link to comment
+geocat_
The book entitled Are You My Mother which was one my wife was trying to find at garage sales and flea markets to add to her collection of childhood favorites. I found it in an ammo box "library" of hard-cover books. Amazing that it had this particular book in it! Edited June 26, 2011 by geocating Quote Link to comment
