+Johnnyoc
Hello all, My parents want in on Geocaching. What is the recommenedations for an entry level GPS around £100-200? It would need to have a good display for the older gentleman and capable of paperless caching? Any advice? Thanks in advance John Quote Link to comment
+factotem
Don't know the answer to the question but has it anything to do with the article in SAGA magazine?? Quote Link to comment

+Graculus
Hi Take a look at my resource website. There is a page there on GPS receivers, the features they have, which maps you can use (there are free ones!) and whether they do paperless or not. There is a comparison table at the bottom showing the current Garmin models. The popular choices for paperless caching amongst cachers are the Dakota and Oregon which are touch screen and the GPS Map62 series which are button and menu driven. People do have their own preferences on how the GPS operates. Suggest you go to an event, have a play with other peoples GPS's (they'll be only too pleased to help you). This link is to the GAGB calendar where you may find an event near you coming soon.
