+georgeandmary
Has the site been changed so that you cannot preview unapproved caches. I've been trying to check out the latest and I've had no luck. I also sent a friend a link to my unapproved cache. I can look at it but she cannot. george Link to comment

kablooey
Yes, it seems to have been changed sometime before April 9th, when I first noticed and complained about it. I haven't heard anything back from the Powers That Be, but I'm only a second-class citizen now; so maybe you'll get a better response. Link to comment

I respect that the GC site is your site, and you can do as you choose with it. Many of us on the forums have noticed/mentioned this, and I don't recall anyone "liking" the change. Perhaps an explanation could at least help us to see where you are coming from. quote:His replyI couldn't find the e-mail, but the general thought was): He has received many requests to make this change and he feel those requests have merit. He didn't go into explaining why; but, as I mentioned in my e-mail: It's his site, so I guess he can do what he wants. Them's the perks when you're the "Big Dog". kablooey
Hmm, does that mean we need to start an email campaign to ask him to change it back? Link to comment
+Brokenwing
Maybe it could be a member's only feature? Scott / Brokenwing http://www.cordianet.com/geocaching Link to comment

+Prime Suspect
Yes, it definitely makes it much more difficult to work on a cache page as a team effort, without someone having to compromise their password. And as someone else mentioned, I don't recall anyone mentioning being able to view unapproved caches as being a problem. Link to comment
kablooey
quote:Originally posted by Scott Thomason: Maybe it could be a member's only feature? I don't see why that's necessary. This is a feature everybody used to have that has gone away. The game was supposed to stay the same for nonmembers. Instead, features are disappearing, and caches are disappearing (being converted to MOC). Link to comment
