Ok, so you have a TB, you live in Tucson, AZ it wants to go to Kansas City, MO. You were going to MO for vacation but your plans changed. Yet you really want to put the TB in this one cache. Is it "allowed" to send it in the mail to your geocaching friends to put it in the cache for you?

Bugs should only be mailed with permission from their owner.

You can send the owner a message and ask if they mind if you mail it.

But generally bugs are supposed to travel from cache to cache with cachers as their mode of transportation.

Yep, if the bug owner wanted it mailed there they would have done it themselves.

I handed one over to a cacher from the other end of the country... In my front room when he was up here on business... Is that acceptable?

Totally acceptable, it's the natural path for a TB to go from cache to cacher to cache, as long as it gets logged properly, it's perfectly fine!
