Hoblik Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 (edited) Few years ago we went to Tiwanaku. (That was before we starteg geocaching.) Tiwanaku and lake Titicaca have always been places we wanted to visit for its great history, cosmological references, incredible stonecutting. Here is a link to our short video from the location - Gateway of the Sun is one of the great monumental works. It is made of a single stone block, now broken into two parts. We have done a geocoin that fetaures some elements of the gateway - central motive of Virachocha, the great creator. On the reverse side of the coin thare are four "sunkasapas" - mythic soldiers, two with human faces, other with condor heads. Samples turned out very well, so we wold like to share some photos of the sample coins with you. Edited July 13, 2011 by Flying Spaghetti Monster Quote

CW88 Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Got mine today . I really love this type of design so couldn't help getting all the antique versions - not sure which is my favourite yet. They are slightly smaller or thinner than I was expecting but still a very nice coin. Quote
+Tschakko Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Are those still available? The site seems to be down :/ Quote
