# of caches found varies from cache page to cache page

I'm curious why the # of caches found varies from cache page to cache page. Perhaps there is a rhyme or reason to it but I can't find it.

 

Some pages say we've found 30, some 50, some 40. Its really odd.

its because the cache pages only update when they are edited, or someone new reports a log to the page.

There is an explanation above the logs:

 

"Cache find counts are based on the last time the page generated."

 

Cache find counts are not considered critical, so cache pages do not generate whenever a user who logged that cache logs another one.
