GeoBobC Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Can someone point me in a direction to get some assistance on trying to combine two .img files? I have many custom maps on my 60CX. Sending the maps via Mapsource to the GPS creates a gmapsupp.img file. Now I have a different gmapsupp.img file, and I want to be able to use those maps on the GPS as well. Of course, I can hook up the GPS to a PC as a disk drive, rename the existing .img file, and copy on the second gmapsupp.img file. That works, but now I've lost the custom maps from the original .img file (not lost, but can't see at the same time). I'd like to end up with one gmapsupp.img file. Is there a website or resource I could read on how to do this? Quote
+HEADLANDERS Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 get GmapTool I agree that this tool works well. Alternatively, you can do it manually at the 'command line' using the 'mkgmap' tool. Quote
