Wow - RISK. That brings back some memories from my university days. The frequent very, very, very late nights playing Risk and wanting to kill my flatmates for killing off my armies.

Yeah!!!! I knew that this event was coming up soon. I have the previous events coins and was waiting for this years to come available. Ordered a set :)

So...what were the previous events' coins? Please don't tell me you have a Clue coin (or it may be GBG with the knife in SFC's coin storage room, LOL)!

I remember I always wanted Alberta. I can't even remember why, but I had to have it.

Had to translate to understand. We call the game Clue--Cluedo

The first Boardgame event was the Cluedo event, but no coin was made for that event

That may actually be a good thing, since I'd be going crazy  to get a Clue(do) coin if it existed..

Edited to say, crazier than I already am!.

I wonder if it speaks to my nerdliness that I can recall spending entire 3 day weekends hashing out these games with my friends - lol.

No, I think a lot of 60s and 70s kids played board games often. No one had PCs and there was no internet. I know we'd pick different friend's homes in our neighborhood and play board games out on the screened in porches all the time.
