I know with the Androids and Iphones, you can download an app that will work great, if not better than a gps. I have an older droid and a tom tom and garmin GPS. I use my Android phone while out caching. I may use the GPS just to get to the location of the cache if i forget to look at it on a map. but using my phone is all i ever use now Quote Link to comment
+big dawgs Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 Try E-Bay. I have purchased 3 Garmin E-Trex Legends on there for my 3 kids to use when we are geocaching. My end bids were all in the $45-$60 range. If you plan on getting into geocaching on a regular basis, then you may wish to look into a paperless based unit that stores all the cache information - description, size, log notes, hint, etc...
