+TrailBlazer26
I am pretty new to this and just purchased a used Garmin 60Cx yesterday. I downloaded a pocket query and opened it in GSAK. When I sent it to my unit...it saved it under waypoints instead of under geocaches on the GPSr. What am I doing wrong? Quote Link to comment
+triggerfish
If you just purcahed the 60, it might not be set up for geocaching. You have to enable geocaching mode somewhere in the settings and then assign the geocache icons to the unit. Basically select the closed chest for a geocache and the open chest for the found caches. In the find - geocaches mode, it will search for the closed chests. Quote Link to comment
sabrefan7
Go to main menu. Then set up. Then geocache. Then click YES you will see an open and closed box, your all set. Quote Link to comment
+mpilchfamily
If you don't need to edit or filter the PQ in any way you can always go to the unit threw My Computer and access it like a disk drive. Then drag and drop the PQ into the GPX folder and your all set. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Also make sure your PQs are GPX files. Don't use the LOC files. Quote Link to comment
