+Afterburned
Hello USA! Especially the guys in New Jersey... I live in Jersey (the original one just off the coast of France, part of the British Isles), it is a small island 9 miles by 5 with about 230 Geocaches. Is anyone living in New Jersey (Jersey City maybe) willing to be the endpoint of a TB race (www.tb-run.com)? This would involve picking up the TB's as they arrive on your island and posting them back! I am, of course, willing to be the end of a race for you guys, or even place your bugs in my race! What do you think? Quote Link to comment
+nikcap
Wait, you mean there's another Jersey some place!? The sounds like a really cool idea. You can sign me up for this. Quote Link to comment
+TwoCat
We're in if you need more help than just ekitt10! We also have TB cache in New Jersey if that helps --> Travel Bug Train Stop Quote Link to comment
+Afterburned
Well, thats a good start, thanks for the offers of help! Now, living on a 9x5 isle gives a somewhat warped perspective of distance (going to the beach on the west of the island is sometimes described as a long way), are you guys close to each other? I am not too familiar with the geography of New Jersey (I thought it was all on an island until this morning when I looked in to it! ) - how much trouble is it to grab TB's from all over NJ? (I can cycle to pick up any TB's over here!!! ) - although maybe a single cache endpoint would be better (and works with the tb-run.com website). Quote Link to comment
PJOutdoors
It will be difficult to do this all over the state of New Jersey using multiple caches. The state is about 175 miles long and about 75 miles wide. Without traffic it takes about three hours to drive from one end to the other. On a summer weekend it takes about six hours (each way that is). I would suggest you find someone willing to set up (or use an existing) TB hotel somewhere in the center of the state. If the US has NEW Jersey, the other one must be OLD Jersey This is a really fun idea. If it works, you could do all kinds of similar ones. York to New York, NY York to York, PA Lancaster to Lancaster PA Suffolk to Suffolk, NY London to New London, CT I'm not sure where Old Jack City is located though. From a quick scan of the NJ area on Google Earth... Essex, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Camden, Gloucester, Warminster, Bucks, Northampton, Berks, Reading. Are all in the UK, mostly the South. Lebanon????!!! Quote Link to comment

Yeah, we really gave tribute to the Brits. ... well, I guess they named it in the first place. Perhaps the goal cache should be in Monmouth Battlefield! Quote Link to comment

+Jayman11
Very neat idea! I wonder if someone will follow suit and do a Georgia to Georgia one. That's one that throws me off once in a while. LOL. Quote Link to comment
