+kurchian
How many caches can an Oregon 450t hold? In one place I see that it can "support up to 5000 caches". Elsewhere I read that it can hold up to 200 files. Please explain. Quote Link to comment
+myotis
5000 caches which can be in up to 200 seperate files. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
5000 caches which can be in up to 200 seperate files. ...GPX files. 5000 individual caches spread across up to 200 GPX files. Quote Link to comment

(For example most of my PQs are set to return 500 caches each, giving me a limit of 10 such files). Quote Link to comment
+CacheFreakTim
Its 5000 total or 200 gpx files....whatever comes first. Quote Link to comment
savant9
I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but the limit is 5000 geocaches or 200 gpx files. Quote Link to comment

+dfx
But what if I don't wanna put 5000 caches in 200 files?!? Quote Link to comment
+ecanderson
But what if I don't wanna put 5000 caches in 200 files?!? Good question. Well, you could put 25 caches in 199 files, and then put only 24 caches into the 200th file. That way you'd only have 4,999. #5000 could be a placeholder for that one on your ignore list, perhaps? Thank heavens you clarified what you meant by backwards! The idea of storing 200 *.xpg files .. what a nightmare! Quote Link to comment
