+munchtime
Hello All On the cache list that comes up after a search there is a tick box on the left of the table next to the distance icon. What's it for and how is it of use to me, I have yet to find an answer. Please help as I feel I'm missing out! munch Quote Link to comment
+cache_test_dummies
The checkboxes are associated with the "Waypoint Downloads" option at the bottom of the page. "To download geocaches, check the box to the left of each listing you wish to download. When you're done, click the download button to the right." Quote Link to comment

Please help as I feel I'm missing out! munch If you look just below the list of caches you'll see a "Waypoint Downloads" section with a "Check Akk" box and "Download Waypoints" button. The Tick box allows you to select which waypoints from the list you want to download. Note, that when you download waypoints in this manner you get them in .loc format rather than .gpx format. The .loc format has very basic information about a waypoint (basically the coordinates and an identifier). Quote Link to comment
+Viridios
I have wondered the same thing. Do you use it to transfer multiple cache coordinates to your GPSr? Quote Link to comment

You use it to transfer multiple cache coordinates to your computer, then use a waypoint manager such as EasyGPS or GSAK to transfer them to your GPS. Quote Link to comment
+docsigma
Isn't a place to keep your tics? I thought that's what my dog was for! Or at least, he seems to think so... Quote Link to comment
+jacob501
Isn't a place to keep your tics? Hey, I've always wondered that! If they have a box for tics, why in the world don't they have a box for tacs -- like a tac box!!!??? Then, everytime you check something off a list, you go "Tic, Tac" and you're done! And then you pull a tic tac out of you purse to eat and........ Forget it... Quote Link to comment
