+Gaddiel Posted April 23, 2003 Share Posted April 23, 2003 In the subject line, I'm getting "[TBUG] was placed in". That's it. No name of the bug or name of the cache. I have to click on the link to see which travel bug it is and where it was placed. Also, I'm getting two notifications for each bug. Any ideas? Is this a common problem? Link to comment

IIRC, the Travel Bug notification actually goes out in the e-mail before the system can hunt down all the necessary components to fill in the details. Jeremy indicated that Travel Bugs on the website always played second fiddle to enhancements to the main database of caches. He also went on to say that since the Travel Bug link was always in the e-mail, he didn't consider this enough of a glitch to warrant his undivided attention. Maybe it'll be fixed in the new site?
