joebowles06 Posted April 10, 2011 Share Posted April 10, 2011 every time i open my geocaching app for my iphone, it thinks that im in washington state near seattle. i live in michigan, and ive never been west of chicago in my entire life, so i have no idea why the gps would be reading my coordinates as some place across the country. ive tried deleting the app and re downloading it but nothing changes. just for the hell of it i downloaded the free trial version, and that works fine but i would really like my full version to work. ive spent the $10 for the app, there should be no excuse for it to not work. if anyone has any idea how i can fix this, please let me know. +Berta Nick Zoey Posted April 11, 2011 Share Posted April 11, 2011 I, myself just got a droid based phone. However, I would think the Geocaching app would work the same. Im my phone, I had to tell the phone to locate itself. Then when I lanuched the geocaching app, the app itself showed where I am because the phone has been located by the sats.
