+KBfamily
I am so excited to visit my brother in Eagle River, WI, this summer. We are going to take a road to trip from Eagle River, WI, to Sault Ste. Marie at the end of June. What are the not to be missed caches? I am hoping some local cachers could please point us in the right direction. We don't have time for hiking or long trail caches. A busy TB Hotel would be great. Any containers that are unusual and surprising to find would be awesome. I would love to visit caches that are placed in an area that any visitor must experience. I believe we will be taking I75...are there caches along the way that we should stop and visit? Thanks so much!! Edited April 9, 2011 by KBfamily Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
I have to ask... Eagle River is just west of the U.P., how you involve I-75 in this equation? You wouldn't get to I-75 until you arrive AT Sault Ste. Marie or almost there, depending on the route taken. From Eagle River, you typically would take US-2 through the U.P. (perhaps a little detour up to M-28 and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore -- or you could do M-28 on the return). Happy to provide some suggestions for you. Email us through gc.com, as the list could be lengthy. Quote Link to comment
