How to find all locationless caches?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone figured it out yet? To do an advanced search to filter for locationless caches, I HAVE to put in zip code/state/other qualifier. Not all locationless caches show up this way. Or is this a problem to be addressed at some point (hopefully soon)?

Somewhere a while back was the answer - use Pocket Query which allows you to filter for locationless and to select multiple countries, states. At the time I got them all into one gpx file, spun it and plucked it onto my PDA. Very simple, very quick. Only problem is I can't find where I saw that thread but maybe someone can find it.

Is there a way to do it without the pocket query (for those non-members)?

Thanks for the help so far and the patience as well.

Everything about locationless caches are contradictory, which is why my plan is to entirely redesign them so they do make sense. In the meantime I indicated in the nearest cache posting that I will be modifying the search page to allow searches of all locationless caches, as before. It will be done by Thursday.

Now I have to specify a location.

Seems a bit contradictory doesn't it.... ??

I just want to bring up a list. I don't have a PDA or any of that fun stuff...

I used to also be able to sort by date with

http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?LTYPE=12&order=date

But that is gone now as well.

You will need to be logged on to do this I believe.

Go to "My Cache Page". Then click on the hyperlink in the upper right corner that says "Search for nearest in (your state) or from your home coordinates". Then click on "New Search" from this page. Now look on this page for a hyperlink that says "View all locationless caches". This should get you what you want.
