There was one exception but it had just been placed a day prior and I recorded it online as being picked up. What is the cause for the missing travel bugs and geocoins for that matter? Usually I think the issue is cachers taking them without logging them: either because they forgot, because they got the tracking number on the item wrong, because they thought it was just another piece of swag, or because they are keeping the trackable even though they aren't supposed to (stealing, really). Sometimes there is a lag in a TB being taken and being logged, especially if the cacher has been visiting lots of caches. Trackables are sometimes mislogged by cachers (they dropped off the TB, but logged it into the wrong cache online) or taken by muggles. Quote Link to comment
