Team Goodie
Does anyone know the reason there are only two caches in this whole park? I was going to sit some out, But with only 2 micros in this popular park I am alittle scared its not allowed. Help! I cant seem to find anyone around here that knows anything. Quote Link to comment
+cfever
Weldon Springs is a DNR managed park and they have rules on geocaching. This link explains the DNR rules. IDNR Geocache Rules While the DNR does not prohibit placing geocaches, they make you work at it! Good luck! Quote Link to comment

The rules are almost impossible to not break. I think I will just look at other nearby parks to stage some hides. Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
hoosier guy
I found a couple over at Pere Marquette SP. You are right the rules are tough not to break. But it looked like most cachers treaated them as normal caches dispite the rules. Not saying that is right, just saying this is what I found. Quote Link to comment
+cfever
On the other hand, an earthcache at the springs in the park would be pretty neat, and the DNR would like that better than a traditional cache. Quote Link to comment
