looking for a club

Recommended Posts

If you look at the pinned topics at the top of the UK forum you'll see "Geocaching organisations in the UK and Ireland. It's mainly a list of UK geocaching sites, most with forums. Geocaching in the UK doesn't really have "clubs" that meet regularly, not like Scouts, Choirs, Train Enthusiasts etc etc. Geocachers meet up at geocaching events which are held all around the UK and are organised by any geocacher who wants to set one up, whenever.

The G.A.G.B. has a good calendar of UK geocaching events here: Calendar of UK events.

My Dad, who has come with me for a couple of finds very local to his house, recently went to the first meeting of Castle Bromwich U3A (University of the Thrid Age) and told me that their first planned activity meeting was walking with geocaching. I appreciate this is only relevent to over 55s or whatever age range they use.
